I'll try submitting a support ticket and see if this gets anywhere. I really hope that someone from CNE, a developer perhaps, would look at this. Why is the server "" (which is clearly an AWS instance geographically located in North America) limiting the download speed?įeel free to add to this if anyone tried snooping around with the network connections of the Steam version of the game client. What is the relevance of the 2 earlier IP addresses that provide higher and faster download speeds? Usually, the throughput of this connection is no greater than 2KB/s (yes, that is 2 Kilobyte per second). However, once that is done it will now download data from "". What I've noticed is that upon connecting to these 2 IP addresses, the game is downloading some data at a fast rate - mostly as fast as what your connection can provide. Upon launching the client itself I've observed that it establishes connections to 2 different IP's other than what is indicated above - they are as follows: Given the above, we can see that it should resolve to either of the 2 public IP addresses. I hope that this is brought to the attention of the developers who will be able to properly resolve the matter. However, considering I am actually able to download GB's worth of ISO's of open-source operating systems from distro's without interruption that ideally I should not have trouble downloading a few MB's worth of assets for this game - but unfortunately that is not the case. The fault usually being pointed out is having an unstable internet connection. I've also raised a suggestion thread in the hopes of getting good word from the developers whether they are working to look into this issue but the last reply I had received was on Feb and nothing else further. For some reason the game doesn't load graphics right anymore.Very irritating bug: Game never loads all of its graphics, tired of this happening. There have been threads that discuss and point out this issue but no clear or real solution has been put in place. All of which have their associated graphical assets that ALWAYS need to be downloaded from some Amazon web server instance - probably geographically located in North America region. It has been more than a year and a lot of new events, crusaders, features, achievements, etc. However, you may notice that by inferring from the filenames that most, if not all, of these are all the files associated with graphics related to the very first version of the game when it launched on Steam. If you go and inspect the game's installation directory then you will notice that all default crusader graphics and other "basic" UI elements have an equivalent SWF. works with ArmorGames Version 1.Ever since the launch of this game's Steam version, it has never been updated to included locally cached graphics or assets. ![]()
